Quality defines everything. At Pearlmark our message is strong; we do not sell second quality products. We provide our customers with superior products and have established procurement practices and controls to sell only the highest quality. Here’s how:


The GFSI-Global Food Safety Initiative certification is administered by an organization that accredits standards such as BRC-British Retail Council, SQF-Safe Quality Foods or IFS-International Featured Standards to meet criteria and standards and strict food safety practices. This ensures that the product comes from certified factories producing under stringent conditions for the benefit of consumers. More than 90% of Pearlmark's suppliers are GFSI certified.


The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points are the normative standards for the seafood industry to meet. All our suppliers must meet these standards or be within a process to finalize their plant to operate within an HACCP processing facility.


We work closely with international suppliers that we consider our partners. For us and for them, providing products that conform to a specification and, in return, delivering to our customers products that we have purchased according to a respected specification is a winning business partnership. This approach minimizes returns, complaints and unmet expectations. We are always looking for new partners willing to embark in this win-win scenario.
